For teams on Next.js 13 or 14

Your Next.js version stopped getting fixes. Here is the way out.

The upgrade has been on the roadmap for a year. Every time someone opens the diff, it looks like three weeks of pain and a production incident. We get you to a supported version in small steps, each one tested and reversible.

Thirty minutes, one written page, no obligation. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.

Sound familiar?

You are in the right place if

package.json says 13 or 14

Per the official Next.js support policy, only 15 and 16 are supported. Anything older gets no new security patches.

Nobody wants to run the upgrade

No tests, a pile of dependency warnings, and a vague memory of the last upgrade going badly. So it keeps slipping.

Features keep winning over upkeep

Your team ships product. The framework drifts a little further behind every sprint, and the gap gets harder to close.

How it works

Four stages. You can stop after any of them.

01

Triage

A free 30-minute call and one written page naming your biggest risks. Often this alone settles whether you have a real problem.

02

Assessment

We read the code, map the dependencies and test gaps, and hand you a written roadmap with a fixed quote for the sprint.

03

Upgrade Sprint

Tests go in first. Then the framework moves one controlled step at a time toward a version target we agreed in writing.

04

Care Plan (optional)

Monthly patching so the next major version is a small step and not another project.

The Assessment

What the Assessment puts in your hands

Starts at $2,500 / 1 to 2 weeks / credited against a sprint

The guarantee

If we do not deliver the written roadmap, you get the assessment fee back. If you go on to an Upgrade Sprint, the fee is credited against it. Sprint pricing is a fixed quote, given in writing before any sprint work starts.

Fair questions

The three things you are probably thinking

What will this cost?

The Assessment starts at $2,500 and is credited against the sprint if you go ahead. The sprint is a fixed quote based on what we find, given before work begins. We do not run open-ended hourly billing.

Why not just rewrite it?

Because a rewrite throws away years of behavior that works, and bets everything on one cutover date. The Assessment will tell you honestly if a rewrite is the better call. Usually a staged upgrade is.

Can we trust a new firm?

You should not have to take our word for it. That is why the first step is free and small, the Assessment has a refund guarantee, and you keep your own repo and credentials throughout.

Straight talk

What you should know about us

Aventheon is a new firm. We have no client roster to show you, and we are not going to invent one.

What we do have is PDFCourt, a live product we operate ourselves. In the last 90 days it completed 1,794 operations and picked up 29 signups, with no paid marketing. That is small. It is also real, and you can check it.

Every engagement has one accountable lead, with vetted senior engineers doing the delivery under that lead's review. You keep your repo and your credentials the whole way through.
